CD 2: Raw Sessions – This disc will be hugely exciting to anyone who loves this album. Here, for the first time in its 40-year history, are eleven previously unreleased gems. The Raw Sessions offers fascinating alternative versions of every song on the album, with 99% of the lead vocals and lead guitar previously unheard. There are also a great many variations in the backing tracks, with some that are totally different to the familiar album versions. Additionally, we get to hear Freddie singing songs weve never heard him sing before, which will come as a major shock to fans (as they did to the band too, whod forgotten about them!). Ten recordings from the original studio sessions and one live song from the 1977 U.S. tour, presented in the familiar running order (Running time approximately 43 minutes)
CD 3: Bonus Tracks – Although the items on this disc have been released previously, several have been hard to find up until now and all are included to make this a truly definitive News Of The World package. It comprises Queens entire (five song) session for the BBC recorded in October 1977, on the same day the album was released, seven stunning concert performances of News Of The World tracks (spanning 1977-1982), five rare backing tracks, including We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions and Spread Your Wings, the seldom heard It’s Late U.S. Radio Edit from 1978, and Feelings Feelings, recorded during the original album sessions, but not used at the time (19 tracks – Running time approximately 68 minutes)
DVD: Queen: The American Dream – Band new documentary featuring previously unreleased footage from Queens famous 1977 show in Houston, Texas (Running time approximately 60 minutes)
VINYL LP: News Of The World – New Pure Analogue Cut from the Original Master Tapes (Running time 40 minutes)
